My name is Jo.

Hi and welcome to my little corner of the Internet.

I write, draw, philosophise, drink coffee, ferment trouble and have odd conversations on MSN.

I also love science fiction, black-and-white movies, webcomics, really good books, classic adventure games, good RPGs, soundtracks, and most things in between.

I live in Leicester, UK.

My big love is storytelling and I have a couple of projects on the go apart from Nones. I keep a running tally further down this page.

That's about it for me.

 

Oh, and I'm no longer job hunting because I now have a kickass one and attempts to lure me away are likely to fail miserably.

 

[NB: I've just about stopped using Word altogether. Apart from scripts, these days my writing is done in Scrivener. (/shameless plug)]

Current stuff:

**Shadow - novel, MA in Writing major project, HANDED IN 18/01/08. Third draft completed, 100, 566 words.

Nones - online serial written and illustrated, ongoing (the thing you're on now)

Defender - sci-fi, short stories / possible novel or miniseries - ongoing, character dev and arc outlining

Meridian's Voice - personal fan story for fun and practice

 

Stuff on hiatus:

Another Place - ten-minute script, COMPLETED. In production stage (over in Canada).

Meridian Wyrd - possible game script, ongoing, story outline and character dev (one day I'll get to grips with this bloody thing)

Cut By Dust - screenplay, second draft complete, third draft under consideration

Ravinstaft - short novel, planned
